Introduction The Fit Network (“TFN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and your choices when you use our website and mobile applications (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.If you do not agree, you may stop using the Services and delete your account in Settings. Where required, you can withdraw consent and we may be unable to provide some features.

2. Information We Collect 2.1 Account Information. Name, email, date of birth, profile photo, gender, and other profile fields you provide.

2.2 Usage Data. Pages/screens viewed, features used (e.g., matches, chats, vouchers), clicks, and in-app interactions.

2.3 Content You Provide. Messages, ratings, “Likes,” uploaded photos, profile text, and feedback. Messages are visible to recipients; we process them to operate the Services and enforce policies.

2.4 Location Data (optional). If enabled, approximate latitude/longitude and country to power proximity and region-based features (e.g., vouchers). You can disable location in device settings; some features may not work without it.

2.5 Device & Log Data. Device type, OS/app version, IP address, language, time zone, identifiers, and diagnostic/crash data.

2.6 Payments & Payouts. When you buy a plan or redeem eligible cashback off-app via a payout provider, we receive payment tokens/IDs, billing or payout status, and transaction metadata from those providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.

2.7 Referral & Attribution Data. If you visit with a referral parameter (e.g.,?ref=CODE) or invitation link, we log that code and attribute qualifying transactions to the referrer. We may use cookies or similar technologies to preserve attribution during sign-up.

2.8 Advertising & Measurement Data (free, ad-supported plan). If ads are enabled on the free plan, our ad partners may receive device identifiers (e.g., IDFA/GAID), approximate location, language, app version, and basic engagement signals for ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement. If you consent to personalized ads (where required), partners may also use this data to personalize ads. You can opt out/withdraw consent at any time (see Your Choices & Rights).

3. How We Use InformationProvide & Personalize. Operate the Services, match you with members based on your settings, show relevant content/vouchers by country or membership, and personalize UI.Communicate. Send transactional emails/notifications (e.g., verification, receipts) and, if permitted, promotional messages (you can opt out).Analytics & Improvement. Monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve features.Safety & Compliance. Detect/prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms/Code of Conduct, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.Referrals & Reporting. Attribute qualifying paid transactions to referrers and show read-only referral/earnings dashboards.Advertising (free plan). Deliver, measure, and (if you consent where required) personalize ads. We do not sell ad credits or allow in-app cashout.Legal bases (EEA/UK). We process data as needed to perform our contract with you, with your consent (e.g., location, marketing, personalized ads), to comply with law, and for our legitimate interests (e.g., safety, analytics, non-personalized ad delivery/measurement) balanced against your rights.

4. Sharing & DisclosureWith Other Users. Profile fields (e.g., name, photo, age, fitness score) are visible to members per your settings. Messages are visible to intended recipients.Service Providers. Hosting, analytics, messaging, payment, and payout providers process data under contracts that protect your information and restrict use.Ad Partners (free plan). If the free plan includes ads, we may allow partners to collect or receive limited data (see 2.8) to deliver and measure ads, and—only with your consent where required—to personalize ads.CCPA/CPRA: We do not sell personal information. If we enable personalized ads, we may “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising on the free plan. California users can opt out at any time (see Your Choices & Rights).Legal/Compliance. When required by law, legal process, or to protect TFN, users, or the public.Business Transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer under this Policy.

5. Data Retention & SecurityRetention. We retain account/profile data while your account is active. Messages and content are retained to provide the Services and for safety. Usage logs/analytics are typically retained up to 24 months. Referral and transaction records may be retained longer to meet tax, audit, and legal requirements.Security. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No system is 100% secure; share cautiously.

6. Your Choices & RightsAccess/Update. Manage most profile and preferences in Settings.Location. Enable/disable device location at any time (device OS controls).Email/Push. Opt out of marketing emails via the link in any message. Transactional messages will still be sent. Control push notifications in device settings.Delete/Deactivate. Delete your account in Settings. We will delete or de-identify data subject to legal retention requirements.Ads (free plan).Personalized vs. non-personalized: You can opt in/out (or withdraw consent) for personalized ads in Settings → Privacy → Ads.Device controls: Reset or limit IDFA/GAID via iOS/Android settings.California: If personalized ads are enabled, you may opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising in Settings → Privacy → Ads.Cookies/SDKs. Browser/mobile controls let you clear or block cookies/identifiers; some features may not work without them.EEA/UK Rights. Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent where used.California Rights. Request to know/access, correct, delete, and (if applicable) opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information.Submit requests at support@thefitnetwork.net. We may verify your identity and respond within the time required by law.

7. Children’s PrivacyThe Services are for individuals 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn we collected data from someone under 18, we will delete it.

8. International TransfersTFN is based in the United States and may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.

9. Changes to This PolicyWe may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect.

11. Program-Specific Disclosures11.1 Referral Credits & Dashboards. Referral credit accrues only after qualifying, completed paid transactions by referred users. We do not reward installs, registrations, ratings, or reviews. In-app referral/earnings dashboards are read-only. Payouts/cashback, if available for your plan, are handled outside the app via a third-party payout provider with ID/tax verification; the app displays balances/status only.

11.2 Location-Based Vouchers. If you enable location, we may use your country/region to determine voucher eligibility. You can disable location at any time; features may be limited without it.

11.3 Ambassadors. TFN may provide designated users with additional read-only visibility into referral performance (e.g., team totals). Ambassador agreements and payouts are managed outside the app and are not part of this Policy.

11.4 Advertising (Free Plan). If enabled, the free plan may be supported by ads. We use data described in 2.8 to deliver and measure ads, and—only with your consent where required—to personalize ads. You can opt out/withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads. California users may also opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information.
